OutCare, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the nation’s first comprehensive resource for
LGBTQ+ healthcare offering provider and healthcare resource directories,
mentorship, medical education reform, and cultural competency training. OutCare’s
most notable endeavor, the OutList, is an online, nationwide directory of healthcare
providers who identify as culturally competent in the care of the LGBTQ+
community.

Prisma Health LGBTQIA+ Alliance

The Prisma Health LGBTQIA+ Alliance is working to identify the gaps in healthcare for
members of the LGBTQIA+ community. They are focused on clinical education for
providers, sensitivity training for staff, and the development of a supportive clinical

The Trevor Project | For Young LGBTQ Lives
The Trevor Project’s mission is to end suicide among LGBT young people. They provide
advocacy, research, and education, as well as a crisis hotline with trained crisis
counselors available 24/7, 365.

Offers free services to those who have been diagnosed with or who are at risk of
contracting HIV/AIDS. Services include testing, education, case management,
transportation, food access, and clinical services.

Planned Parenthood provides high-quality, affordable healthcare and is the nation’s
largest provider of sex education. They offer services such as birth control, primary care,
emergency contraception, STD testing and treatment, HIV treatment, and transgender
hormone therapy.
