Hannah, Office Coordinator
Everyone at IMHS agrees Hannah is the backbone of the practice. In addition to her administrative role, she advocates for clients, keeps the clinicians on track, and passionately serves as a liaison between the clients, clinicians, and the community. Hannah is dedicated to cultivating and maintaining a compassionate and professional client-centered environment for individuals.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, caring for her plants, and spending time with her friends and partner.
Terri Talley, LPC, LPCS, LCMHC, CT, CMCC
Terri earned degrees in forensic psychology and clinical mental health counseling before pursuing her Ph.D. in mind-body medicine with specializations in trauma and resilience.
As a Licensed Counselor in both South Carolina and North Carolina, she is dedicated to providing a safe therapeutic space and practical resources for individuals seeking to regain purpose and meaning.
As a certified Thanatologist, Grief Coach, and Death Doula, she provides direction, education, and compassion for individuals, families, and organizations facing the challenges of end-of-life matters and grief.
Her areas of focus are first responders, grief, end-of-life matters, suicidality, violence-related trauma, survivors of suicide, workplace loss, traumatic loss, and existential issues.
Many individuals feel lost, alone, and unheard in their attempts to find healing and make meaning of life during difficult seasons. Terri supports individuals, families, and organizations through counseling, coaching, support groups, and organizational grief processing.

Ashlyn Bordelon, M. Ed, LPC, LPCS/C, NCC
Ashlyn is passionate about acknowledging and validating each individual’s unique circumstances and experiences in a safe and nonjudgemental space. As a counselor, her goal is to assist you in your journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-growth.
Ashlyn works with individuals and groups who need compassion and support with depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ sexuality, gender identity development, self-injury, non-monogamous and other relationship challenges, perfectionism, trauma, career development, and low self-esteem.
In addition to working with couples, adults of all ages, and youth, she offers LGBTQ+ support groups.
She has facilitated an LGBTQ+ support group for college-aged students at Winthrop University, is passionate about providing counseling services for LGBTQ+ individuals, and has provided counseling services to clients all along the gender identity and sexual orientation spectrum.

Outside of work, Ashlyn is an avid music lover and believes in the therapeutic nature of listening to an album from beginning to end. She can be found cuddling up with her pets, spending time with her friends and traveling to see her favorite music bands.
Sally Farmer, LMT, MMP
Sally experienced firsthand the benefits of massage as a healing modality while dealing with her injury. Her personal healing experience led her to pursue a career in massage therapy to give back to others after she retired from the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Buffy Chapman, MA, LPC, CCTP, NCC
Buffy offers a collaborative approach to counseling, incorporating CBT, polyvagal-informed modalities, and EMDR to tailor each session to the client’s unique needs.
Buffy works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, LGBTQ+ sexuality, adjustment disorders, life transitions, trauma, and interpersonal relationship challenges.
In addition to these areas, her experiences in the healthcare industry over the past twenty years have given her compassionate insight and understanding of the stress, anxiety, compassion fatigue, and burnout that commonly impact caregivers.

Rob McClary, MC, LPC, LPCS/C
Rob retired from the military after 21+ years of service and has joined the IMHS team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and commitment to changing the stigmas against mental health.
Embracing a client-centered approach through rapport building and safe clinical relationships, the most common issues he works with are couples, substance use disorders, parenting skills, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, ADHD, adjustment disorder, and interpersonal problems.

Veronica McLean, Clinical Intern
Veronica is a Columbia, SC native and current graduate student in clinical mental health counseling. She received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina Honors College in 2020. Before joining the IMHS team, she worked in various roles with college students, older adults, and the parents of children with disabilities.
As a clinical mental health intern, Veronica aims to meet her clients where they are and create a space for personal growth and exploration. She utilizes a person-centered, collaborative approach to help her clients gain insight and engage with the world around them.
She looks forward to working with teens, young adults, couples, and individuals experiencing life transitions, anxiety, and depression.
In her free time, Veronica enjoys gardening, cooking, and hiking with her dog, Murray.
Hannah Cherewko, LPCA
Before coming to IMHS, Hannah worked with incarcerated individuals who struggled with mood disorders, feeling hopeless, anxiety, and depression. Drawing from these experiences, she recognizes how hard life can become when the world around us seems to limit our growth opportunities and the loneliness felt in these times.
She is dedicated to meeting people where they are and resourcing them to meet their personal goals despite the challenges. Utilizing techniques from CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, she encourages and resources individuals in a non-judgmental space to find their way through chronic illness & pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and academic endeavors.
Hannah is currently accepting new clients ages 13 and up.
She practices yoga, crochetes, and plays with her two dogs in her free time.
