Hannah, Office Coordinator

With five years of customer service and three years of leadership experience, Hannah is dedicated to cultivating a compassionate and professional environment for clients. 

In her free time, she enjoys reading, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her friends and partner. 

 

Terri Talley, LPC, LPCS, CT, CMCC, NCC

Terri earned degrees in Forensic Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling before pursuing her PhD. in Mind-Body Medicine with specializations in Trauma and Resiliency. She is dedicated to providing therapeutic space and practical resources for individuals seeking to regain purpose and meaning.

She is a certified Thanatologist specializing in traumatic stress, suicidality, violence-related trauma, moral injury, post-critical incidents, grief, end-of-life matters, sudden & traumatic death, survivors of traumatic loss, and existential issues.

 Academic endeavors, professional training, and experience as a first responder equip her with skills to help emergency responders navigate challenges within their personal and professional lives.

Many individuals feel lost, alone, and unheard in their attempts to find healing and make sense of life during difficult seasons. Terri supports adults, seniors, families, organizations, and businesses through individual counseling, in-home grief family counseling, and corporate grief processing.

In her free time, she enjoys kettlebell training, djembe drumming, rowing, gardening, and is an avid reader.

Laine Jones, MA, LPC, NCC

Laine is passionate about helping individuals who are hurting because they don’t feel seen, heard, or understood. Believing that every person is uniquely designed and gifted she adapts her therapeutic process to meet the personal needs and goals of the individuals she works with. Her professional focus is to help people discover a better sense of self in the midst of life’s challenges.

Laine offers a holistic approach in helping your adolescent and young adult face challenges such as body image issues, self-harm, eating disorders, low self-esteem, substance use, social anxiety, socialization, communication struggles and depression.

In addition to working with adolescents Laine has a diverse background working with college students & adults in both private and psychiatric settings.

Laine earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbia International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina; where she graduated with leadership distinction. She has specialized training in counseling from a Christian perspective and can incorporate this perspective into treatment when clients find it important.

Outside of the office Laine enjoys engaging in physical activities such as swimming and walking, spending time with her family, and teaching. She is involved in her community through missions work and volunteer activities and she loves coffee, pizza, and Mexican food.

Ashlyn Bordelon, M. Ed, LPC, NCC

Ashlyn is passionate about the importance of acknowledging and validating the unique circumstances and experiences of each individual in a safe and nonjudgemental space. As a counselor, her goal is to assist you in your journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-growth.

Ashlyn works with individuals who need compassion and support with depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ sexuality, gender identity development, self-injury, non-monogamous and other relationship challenges, perfectionism, trauma, career development, and low self-esteem. 

In addition to working with couples, adults of all ages, and youth, she offers LGBTQ+ support groups.

She has facilitated an LGBTQ+ support group for college-aged students at Winthrop University, is passionate about providing counseling services for LGBTQ+ individuals, and has provided counseling services to clients all along the gender identity and sexual orientation spectrum.

Believing that everyone has their own set of needs and goals, she tailors therapy to each individual through research-supported techniques such as:

Outside of work, Ashlyn is an avid music lover and believes in the therapeutic nature of listening to an album from beginning to end. She can be found cuddling up with her pets and spending time with her wife on the weekends.

Sally Farmer, LMT, MMP

Sally experienced firsthand the benefits of massage when as a healing modality while dealing with her own injury. Her personal healing experience is what led her to pursue a career in massage therapy as a way of giving back to others after she retired from the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Sally is certified in:

  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
  • Myofascial Cupping (Rock Pods) and Advanced IASTM (Mohawk).

In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, hiking, and mountain bike riding.

Buffy Chapman, MA, LPCA, NCC

Buffy offers a collaborative approach to counseling, incorporating CBT, ACT-informed modalities, and EMDR to tailor each session to the client’s unique needs. Her experiences in the healthcare industry over the past twenty years have given her compassionate insight and understanding of the stress, anxiety, compassion fatigue, and burnout that commonly impacts caregivers.

She is passionate about the mental well-being of health care providers working day in and day out, providing patient care. 

In addition to working with healthcare providers, Buffy works with adults and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, LGBTQ+ sexuality, adjustment disorders, life transitions, trauma, and interpersonal relationship challenges.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, camping, and hiking with her family.

Rob McClary, MC, LPC

Rob retired from the military after 21+ years of service and has joined the IMHS team, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and commitment to changing the stigmas against mental health.

He has been trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Embracing a client-centered approach through rapport building and safe clinical relationships, the most common issues he works with are substance use disorders, intense family services, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, ADHD, adjustment disorder, and interpersonal problems. He works with teens, young adults, adults, and seniors meeting each client where they are.

In his free time Rob enjoys spending time with family, playing video games, and reading. 

Lauren Pappas, LPCA, NCC

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Before joining us at IMHS, she worked as a social worker for several years. Her heart’s focus as a counselor is to assist people in bettering their circumstances and strengthening their ability to grow into the person they want to be despite the challenges in front of them.

During hard times, she believes providing good communication, encouragement and compassion, in a nonjudgmental therapeutic space allows individuals to be seen and heard and is fundamental to their success. 
 
Utilizing person-centered approaches through CBT and solution-focused therapy, Lauren most commonly works with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and Netflix.
